Hi! I’m Yu-Hey. 15 years of home cooking in the US: My journey to perfect Japanese flavors.

I was born and raised in Japan and moved to the U.S. when I was 25.

To be honest, back then, I couldn’t find any decent Japanese food in America. That was the real reason I started cooking at home—if I wanted to eat the food I loved, I had to make it myself!

I’ve spent the last 15 years in my kitchen, experimenting and perfecting recipes using ingredients I find at local markets here. Now, I’m ready to share everything I’ve learned from 15 years of home cooking with all of you.
